Nice little family late lunch today with the Son and grandbabies. We normally go to Sugar Shane's but they were closed so I called to see if children were allowed (at one point I think they might not have been). Nice clean place, plenty of bar customers but they were all very polite and kind and quiet. Nice dining area up front. Staff went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. Curbside parking helps (I'm currently temporarily handicapped and on crutches). I ordered the Chicken, Bacon Ranch sandwich and tater tots to share with the babies. Kids got a house salad with Turkey and a kid's Pepperoni Pizza. Both disappeared pretty quickly! My Son ordered a club (which his daughter was coveting) and Onion Straws (which he loved despite being anti onion his entire life). He thinks the ranch dressing is homemade (don't know but it was good). He also got a calzone to take home and I can't really comment on that as I didn't try any; but judging NY how quickly my grandson devoured his 8 inch pizza I'll bet it is probably pretty tasty. Kids were very happy that there were tvs everywhere (they are in the process of moving so I think they are jonesing a tad) Very nice, clean, solid local joint that IS kid friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to return.
